Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Software Engineer with expertise in DPDK, 5G networking, Python, and Shell scripting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and developing high-performance networking applications in a 5G/telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize high-performance networking applications using DPDK.
Work on 5G core, RAN, and edge computing solutions, optimizing packet processing and network performance.
Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Shell scripting to streamline network functions and testing.
Implement network acceleration techniques for low-latency and high-throughput applications.
Troubleshoot and debug networking protocols, kernel bypass technologies, and real-time packet processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps to integrate networking solutions.
Perform performance benchmarking and optimize system architecture for 5G applications.
Write and maintain technical documentation for system architecture, APIs, and deployment strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of experience in high-performance networking or telecom software development.
Strong experience with DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) .
Good understanding of 5G networking concepts including 5G Core (UPF), RAN, and MEC.
Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation, testing, and network monitoring.
Strong knowledge of Linux networking, kernel bypass techniques, and real-time systems.
Hands-on experience with multithreading, memory management, and hardware acceleration (e.g., SR-IOV, SmartNICs, FPGA, eBPF).
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, VXLAN, GTP, SCTP) and network security.
Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or CNFs).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation frameworks
