Job Summary:
The Shift Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising all technical operations during their assigned shift at the site. This includes ensuring
uninterrupted functioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as responding to emergencies and coordinating with the facility
management team and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and monitor all technical operations during the shift.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, HVAC, DG sets, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, alarms, and emergency calls.
• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and equipment checklists.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for urgent repairs or services.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards.
• Report shift activities and issues to the Assistant Technical Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in facility operations.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical panels, pumps, and generators.
Skills Required:
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently during shifts
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting
